Though Puducherry is popular as an erstwhile French colony, it is the confluence of two different cultures, Indian and French, existing side by side, which intrigues visitors to Puducherry.
A three-month festival starting in February plans to celebrate this melting pot of two diverse traditions and the influences they have spawned.
